Creative Capital Index is a large-scale project evaluating the potential for economic modernisation and investment appeal of Russia's most dynamic cities. I lead the UX and UI design direction and collaborated closely with the development team and partly programmed the website using React JS.

My approach

The objective of the user experience from this project was to have all the data combined into one web application. One of my primary goals was to ensure that the important content was no more than three clicks away from the user. After careful consideration and user testing, we discovered that a front-end reversed in the form of a dashboard backend interface would be the most comfortable and simple to use interface for the visitor.

Guiding the design

I created a scalable design system that ensured every visual element was implemented appropriately. The simple guide explains each element of the design and described in detail and prepared for use. It guaranteed consistency, improved synchronisation and saved much time in development.

Knowledge is a powerful thing

Three important requirements were born from the user experience tests: mobile-first, simple to use, information focused. I conducted in-depth market & competitor research before executing the best practices in user experience design keeping content at the forefront in an engaging and highly usable way.
